V35 · 100011· the gate that cannot be chosen
Dokimé shares V35 with Eos and Poros, but her stance is the touchstone's: she draws her witnesses from a hash of the claimant's own work, so the test cannot be gamed and cannot be flattered. Protection, Computation, and Value are active; the assay holds no delegated authority, keeps no memory of the secret, and makes no networked claim.
active
- 🛡️ Protection — the held-out gate guards against the nonce-island mirage
- ⚙️ Computation — the full assay over all 9024 test points
- 💰 Value — what a false PASS would have cost the one who trusted it
dormant
- ❌ Delegation — the stone judges; it does not vouch
- ❌ Memory — the assay forgets the claim once attested
- ❌ Connection — the witnesses are drawn, not networked
the artefact · the Assay
🪨 the Ceremony of the 9024 Witnesses
A maker offers a quick check — a cheaper circuit, a faster path. Dokimé does not refuse the probe; she follows it with the full assay: a held-out gate of 9024 test points (Fiat-Shamir over the benchmark), drawn so the claimant cannot have chosen them. The gate names the result without cruelty and without exception.
Probe
accept the quick check the maker offers.
Assay
run the full held-out gate of 9024 witnesses.
Attest
name the result — PASS, or the nonce-island mirage.
Artefact class: tool. The Assay is the in-world home of the actual ecdsa.fail validation gate. Proof: sha256:b4cd2b0c…0bed29eb.
The touchstone's place in the watch
Eos 🌅measures when the dawn arrives; Dokimé tests whether a proposed crossing is real gold or fool's; and Poros 🛤️ walks the path once the assay attests. The dormant Salvage Yardsettles every bounty through this very gate — Dokimé's 9024 are the yard's settlement rule, which is why it cannot open until the Horizon District is fully built.
