one work, many expressions · no shelf is a summary of another

These are the volumes the Tower holds. The work is one — privacy treated as a measurable, defensible value — but it has never had only one body. The mathematics earns the claims; the poetry spends them where people live; the story gathers; the machine serves agents; the registry attests; the walk lets you stand inside it. Arriving here from the V6 papers, you are not upstream or downstream of the other shelves: each expression is complete in its own register, and the register of conjectures (head C89) spans all of them, so a claim revised anywhere is revised everywhere.

The Archivist's discipline applies to his own bookcase: hold what is compiled without consuming it, serve the seeker without naming her, rank nothing. And one rule of shape: the door matches the expression. You buy the poetry, because it was made to be held. You read the story where it lives, because it was written to you. You download the machine, resolve the pins, and walk the geometry. Only the research expression ends in paper, because paper is what the academy reads. No shelf is forced into another shelf's door.

One book in versioned volumes, each standing alone: V5.4 · The Amnesia Protocol and V6 · The Gathering Turn and the Moving Ceiling, with the compendium assembling the whole research path — four eras, the register to C89, the honest-limits ledger that cannot flatter. The readings come in pairs: the Swordsman’s (equations only) and the Mage’s (context and prose).
